DPRK launches presumably several ballistic missiles simultaneously

According to the Coast Guard of Japan, the missile has dropped already, but the exact location of the fall is not disclosed

TOKYO, October 13. /TASS/. North Korea launched what is believed to be a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan Thursday night, the Coast Guard of Japan reported.

According to the Coast Guard, the missile has dropped already, but the exact location of the fall is not disclosed. The agency urges ships in the area not to approach missile debris and report them to the authorities.

Meanwhile, NHK reported citing government sources that North Korea launched several ballistic missiles simultaneously, all of them fell outside of Japan’s exclusive economic zone. No damage was reported.

The operational group at the Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s office is collecting and analyzing information regarding this new launch. The Japanese Defense Ministry is collecting information as well. The Ministry has not yet published any information regarding the missiles’ range and their maximum altitude.

The South Korean military also reported a ballistic missile launched by DPRK, but no specifics have provided as of now.
