DPR says Ukraine shells Donetsk second time using Uragan MLRS

According to the headquarters of the Donetsk People's Republic under the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire, the shelling was registered at 20:45

DONETSK, June 2. /TASS/. The office of the Donetsk People's Republic at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire on Wednesday said the armed forces of Ukraine shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk for the second time on Wednesday using a BM-27 Uragan multiple launch rocket system.

According to the office, the shelling was registered at 20:45 (same time as in Moscow). Two rockets were fired from the MLRS.

Earlier on Wednesday, the JCCC reported that the Petrovsky district of Donetsk came under fire from the Uragan at 12:40, as two rockets were launched. There also were reports that area of Donetsk also came under fire from a Grad MLRS.

The armed forces of Ukraine have been intensively shelling Donetsk in recent days. On May 30, the largest escalation since 2014 was recorded. The Ukrainian military used 155-mm artillery and American M777 howitzers, and also fired four rockets from the Smerch MLRS at residential areas, killing people.
