MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. The army and navy remain the pride of Russia, President Vladimir Putin said in a video address on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

"We are proud of our army and navy - their unwavering, undaunted character forged in the heat of battle, their loyalty to the Russian military school, the legacy of great commanders, and the experience of many generations of Russian soldiers," he said.
