At least 76 people charged after brawl at construction site in Moscow

139 people have been taken to local police stations

MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Nearly 140 people have been taken to a police station after a fistfight at a construction site in Moscow, with 76 of them being held accountable for petty hooliganism, as criminal proceedings have been launched, Spokesman for the Moscow police department Vladimir Vasenin told TASS.

"After measures were taken to identify those involved in the incident, 139 people have been taken to local police stations. Preliminary information says that there was a domestic conflict between workers, which spiraled into a brawl, as a result of which two participants in the conflict sought medical help," he said.

After the incident, investigators launched criminal proceedings under Article 213 of Russia’s Criminal Code (hooliganism), and 76 people were brought to justice for petty hooliganism in accordance with Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code, the Moscow police spokesman added.

The incident took place at a construction site in Moscow on Thursday.
