MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russian application store RuStore was included in the list of programs required for pre-installation on electronic devices in 2023, the press service of the Russian government reported on Thursday.
"This will give Russian users uninterrupted access to popular digital services amid external restrictions," the government said.
The application store was developed on behalf of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. RuStore was created by VK together with the largest Russian IT companies with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development. It was launched back in May 2022.
In addition, the government has increased the number of pre-installed programs that provide access to audiovisual services from 10 to 15. "This decision will go into effect on March 1, 2023. It is aimed at creating equal competitive conditions for the development of domestic audiovisual services," the government added.
