Chile authorizes Russia’s Sputnik V COVID-19 jab

Earlier, Chilean President Sebastian Pinera confirmed that the national government seeks to buy the Russian vaccine

BUENOS AIRES, July 21. /TASS/. The Public Health Institute of Chile has issued an emergency use authorization for Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine, the agency reported on Wednesday via Twitter.

"The Sputnik V emergency use has been approved by five votes, while two people abstained and one voted against it," the statement reads.
