Actress Peresild helped commander Shkaplerov during manual docking — Channel One's CEO

According to Konstantin Ernst, film director Klim Shipenko has already filled three flash discs with video footage for a future feature film with the working title Challenge

BAIKONUR /Kazakhstan/, October 5. /TASS/. Actress Yulia Peresild assisted spacecraft commander Anton Shkaplerov during manual docking with the ISS, the CEO of Russia's TV Channel One, Konstantin Ernst, said on Tuesday.

"Anton Shkaplerov went to manual. Yulia assisted him," Ernst told the media.

According to Channel One's CEO, film director Klim Shipenko has already filled three flash discs with video footage for a future feature film with the working title Challenge. The chief of Roscosmos corporation, Dmitry Rogozin, said the film director had been allowed to keep a camera handy.

The Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft was put into orbit with the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle following blastoff from the Baikonur cosmodrome at 11:55 Moscow time.

Peresild and Shipenko will be recording scenes for what is to become the world's first full-length feature film shot in outer space. They will spend 12 days on the International Space Station and get back to the Earth by the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft together with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, who has been on the ISS since spring.
