Three scientific companies arrive in Era technopolis in Anapa

The newly arrived units will make it possible to ramp up work on six promising research fields

MOSCOW, January 19. /TASS/. Two scientific companies, working on tasks for Russian Aerospace Forces and a company of the 12th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, responsible for nuclear safety, were relocated to the Era military innovative technopolis, the Ministry told journalists Tuesday.

"Since the beginning of 2021, in compliance with the order of the Minister of Defense, three scientific companies were integrated in the Era technopolis. Young scientists will continue their research on the newest experimental and testing equipment," the Ministry said.

The newly arrived units will make it possible to ramp up work on six promising research fields.

The Ministry of Defense disclosed that the scientists will perform duties in the interests of the Main Aerospace Command, Main Directorate of Research and Technological Support, the Meteorological Service of the Armed Forces, the General Staff military topographic Directorate, the 12th Main Directorate and the Ministry of Defense IT Department.

All three companies have already arrived in Anapa, the Krasnodar Region. According to Technopolis commander Lieutenant General Vladimir Ivanovsky, the number of operators in Anapa increased to 320 people.

"The deployment of scientific units of various fields on a single innovative venue will make it possible to implement a complex approach to issues of design, construction and trials of future weapons, military and special vehicles, as well as the ways to use them," the Ministry of Defense said, adding that such integration will make it possible to reduce the timeframe of development of innovative projects and their implementation as weapons, military and special vehicles.

Previously, the Ministry disclosed that two scientific companies from Krasnogorsk and Voronezh were relocated to the Era technopolis. The third company was expected to arrive from Sergiyev Posad, the Ministry said at the time.
