Lavrov says Russian-US relations in ‘stand-by mode’ for now

MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. Relations between Moscow and Washington are in a stand-by mode for now as the US administration is still in its nascent formation stage, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the Military Academy of the General Staff on Thursday.

"Our American colleagues, the new administration so far has not filled all available posts at the Department of State, the Department of Commerce and other agencies. Consequently, we are now in "stand-by mode," Lavrov explained.\
