Chechen leader says Operation Pipeline near Sudzha was daring, incredibly effective

Kadyrov also shared a video featuring the Akhmat units’ commandos moving through the gas pipeline as they advanced into enemy territory

GROZNY, March 12. /TASS/. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has described the operation in the Kursk Region, carried out through an unused gas pipeline to attack Ukrainian troops in Sudzha from the rear, as daring and remarkably effective. He praised the meticulous preparation and coordination of all participants involved.

"The operation was bold, but above all, it was incredibly effective. The rigorous preparation, determination, and teamwork of the fighters enabled us to achieve our objective and deliver a decisive blow to the enemy. Through their heroic actions, each of them has inscribed their name into the annals of our great Fatherland - Russia," he stated on his Telegram channel.

Kadyrov also shared a video featuring the Akhmat units’ commandos moving through the gas pipeline as they advanced into enemy territory.

"For five days, our soldiers stealthily moved along the gas pipe, infiltrating the enemy-held territory. Taking brief pauses to regain their strength, they methodically covered 15 kilometers under challenging conditions. Upon reaching their target, the fighters executed a rapid strike against the enemy," he explained.

As TASS previously reported, fighters from a combined assault squad, including soldiers from the 11th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, the 30th Regiment of the 72nd Mechanized Infantry Division, the Akhmat commando unit, and volunteers from the assault brigade Veterans - emerged unexpectedly near the town of Sudzha after traversing approximately 15 kilometers inside the pipeline, well beyond Ukrainian defense lines.
