MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russia will not work in international organizations with a Russophobic position, State Duma Deputy Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy told TASS.
"Those organizations that have made confrontation with Russia their raison d’etre will cease to exist for our country," Tolstoy said, answering a TASS question on which organizations membership could cease to be relevant for Russia.
He pointed out that Russia participates and works in international organizations, including interparliamentary associations, but no longer participates in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
"All this for the reason that the organization has adopted a Russophobic position and imagined itself as a court over Russia," Tolstoy emphasized. "Russia will not work in such organizations, we will destroy them," the senior lawmaker emphasized.
Earlier, Tolstoy called for a thorough investigation into the activities of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Russia, and in the meantime, at the very least, suspend Russia's membership in the WHO, or better yet, withdraw from the organization.
