MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Russia’s diplomatic missions to Cairo, Tel Aviv and Ramallah along with the Russian Foreign and Emergencies Ministries and other agencies do everything they can to get Russians out of the area of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as soon as possible, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement about the ongoing evacuations from the Gaza Strip.
"The Russian diplomatic missions to Cairo, Tel Aviv and Ramallah, some departments of the Foreign and Emergencies Ministries as well as other agencies are trying hard to complete the evacuation of our citizens from the conflict zone as soon as possible," the Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry pointed out that "out of 1,232 compatriots who sought help, a total of 951 have been moved out of the conflict zone."
The Foreign Ministry recalled that on the evening of December 7, another group of those evacuated from the Gaza Strip - 68 Russians and Palestinians (their family members) - landed in Moscow aboard a special flight operated by the Emergencies Ministry. The Foreign Ministry’s field team at Domodedovo Airport helped them get through border, immigration and passport control.
