MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The return of the Russian-Korean cooperation to a mutually beneficial trajectory depends on Seoul, and Moscow is ready for that, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the foreign ambassadors’ credentials presentation ceremony.
"It depends on the official Seoul if the Russian-Korean cooperation will return back to the trajectory of partnership, so beneficial for our countries and peoples. I would like to underscore that we are ready for that," he said.
Putin noted with regret that the relations between Russia and South Korea are currently not in the best shape.
"Just a couple of years ago, these relations were developing in the most constructive way, they were mutually beneficial, especially in the economic area. We were also working together on the political and diplomatic settlement of the situation on the Koran Peninsula," the president added.
