First vessels with grain expected to leave port of Berdyansk later this week

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced on Tuesday that the seaports of Mariupol and Berdyansk were operating normally and that everything was ready for grain loading there

SIMFEROPOL, June 8. /TASS/. The seaport of Berdyansk has reopened after demining, and the first vessels with grain are expected to leave there later this week, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the local administration’s chief council, told TASS on Wednesday.

"Everything’s ready for cargo shipment, and the grain is likely to go first. Actually, there are lots of grain here, all grain elevators are full. <…> The first vessels [with grain] are expected to leave the port later this week," he said.
