A group of Chinese citizens came under fire during an attempt to cross into the Russian territory on their own

MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. A group of Chinese citizens came under fire from Ukrainian nationalists during an attempt to cross into the Russian territory on their own; two of them sustained serious injuries, Russian National Defense Control Center head Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev announced Thursday.

"Yesterday, Nazis opened fire on a group of Chinese citizens in Kharkov during their attempt to enter the Russian territory on their own, two people sustained serious injuries," Mizintsev said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that, in response to a request by the heads of the Donbass republics, he had made a decision to carry out a special military operation in Ukraine. The Russian leader stressed that Moscow had no plans of occupying Ukrainian territories. Russian Defense Ministry reassured that Russian troops are not targeting Ukrainian cities, but are limited to surgically striking and incapacitating Ukrainian military infrastructure. There are no threats whatsoever to the civilian population.
