Czech Republic reports disruptions in oil supplies via Druzhba pipeline — portal

The reasons for the suspension of transit are not reported

PRAGUE, March 4. /TASS/. The Czech authorities have reported disruptions in oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline, the Czech news portal novinky reported citing Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic Lukas Vlcek.

The minister claims that interruptions in the supply of Russian oil do not pose a threat to the energy security of the Czech Republic. The reasons for the suspension of transit are not reported.

The Czech Republic last reported problems on the Druzhba oil pipeline in December 2024. Short-term disruptions were observed at the beginning and end of the month.

The Druzhba oil pipeline goes from Almetyevsk through Bryansk in Russia into Belarus and then splits into a southern branch, which carries oil through Ukraine to Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, and a northern branch, which stretches to Poland and Germany.
