Putin to attend Future Technologies Forum in Moscow

At last year's forum, which was also held in February, the president's speech was focused on healthcare issues

MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Moscow's World Trade Center to attend the third Future Technologies Forum.

At a recent session of the Presidential Council for Science and Education, the Russian leader said that he would pay special attention to the topic of staff training at the event. Putin highlighted chemistry and new materials as the main topics of the forum.

At last year's forum, which was also held in February, the president's speech was focused on healthcare issues. He emphasized the need to increase funding for specialized research and instructed the Russian government to launch a national project on the development of modern medical technologies.

The Third Forum of Future Technologies is being held in Moscow on February 20-21, 2025 as part of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. In accordance with the decision of the organizing committee, the World Trade Center in Moscow has become the official venue of the event. The Roscongress Foundation serves as the operator of the forum, while Russian corporations with the support of Moscow’s government and the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry are the co-organizers. The event is expected to be attended by at least 200 speakers and 2,000 attendees from 20 countries. A number of agreements important for the industry are expected to be signed.
