Moldova’s energy minister invited to discuss gas supplies with Gazprom

"We should coordinate the visit and positions with the prime minister," Victor Parlicov noted

CHISINAU, November 20. /TASS/. Energy Minister of Moldova Victor Parlicov said that he had received an invitation to discuss gas supplies with representatives of the Russian gas holding Gazprom.

"I received the invitation from Gazprom to come to talks in St. Petersburg this week. This is a very sensitive issue. We should coordinate the visit and positions with the prime minister," he told reporters.

Parlicov earlier expressed concerns in connection with problems the Moldovan energy sector may face after termination of gas transit over the operating route in Ukraine.
