MINSK, November 5. /TASS/. The Council of Ministers of the Union State of Russia and Belarus has approved nearly two dozen documents following its meeting today.
One of the key resolutions concerns the removal of roaming charges, establishing affordable tariffs for communication and data transmission services within the Union State. Other resolutions address issues such as the status of Belarusian and Russian manufactured products as Union State products, the development of commuter rail traffic, a unified consumer protection framework, a strategy for the development of a common information space, and the harmonization of rail tariffs for mineral and construction cargoes.
Additionally, two documents focus on measures to combat the illegal importation of goods and the illicit circulation of tobacco and tobacco products within the Union State.
