Sber announces new version of GigaChat service

"Concerning factual information, the announced model performs 25% better than the previous version," the press service pointed out

MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Sber developers announced an updated version of the GigaChat at the AI Journey conference, the bank’s press service said.

"Owing to a new LLM [Large Language Model - TASS], GigaChat follows instruction better and can perform more complex tasks. Quality of summarizing, rewriting and editing of text, and answers to different question has improved significantly. The team compared answers of the new and the previous models and registered the overall quality improvement by 23%. Concerning factual information, the announced model performs 25% better than the previous version," Sber said.

In April 2023, Sber released its own version of the GigaChat multimodal neural network, capable of answering questions of users, maintaining a dialog, writing program codes and generating texts and images based on descriptions within the integrated context.
