NEW YORK, November 18. /TASS/. Walt Disney has followed Apple and IBM in pausing advertising on the social media platform X after its owner Elon Musk’s post about Jewish people, the Hollywood Reporter said on Friday.
In his post, Musk responded to a tweet about "western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much."
Musk wrote, "You have said the actual truth."
The magazine reported that the moves by Disney and Apple are especially worrying to the management of the social network, as these two companies are among its largest advertisers.
According to The Washington Post, the US technology giant IBM suspended advertising on the social network X on November 16 over Musk’s controversial posts. The X owner earlier laid off some of the staff responsible for content moderation and disbanded the teams that filtered out "toxic" posts.
