Russian air defenses destroy Ukrainian drone over Belgorod Region — Defense Ministry

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said earlier that over ten Ukrainian drones had attacked the Belgorod Region in the previous 24 hours, while the Ukrainian military had fired about 30 munitions at populated areas

MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. Kiev tried to attack targets in Russia using a fixed-wing drone, which was destroyed over the borderline Belgorod Region, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"An attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on Russian targets using a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle was thwarted at about 11:00 a.m. Moscow time (8:00 a.m. GMT) on February 25. On-duty air defenses destroyed the Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod Region," the statement reads.

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said earlier that over ten Ukrainian drones had attacked the Belgorod Region in the previous 24 hours, while the Ukrainian military had fired about 30 munitions at populated areas.
