The supply of tanks, drones and other in-demand weapons to the Russian armed forces has increased significantly in recent years, and the release of promising models and the introduction of artificial intelligence in the military sphere are next in line, President Vladimir Putin stated this in a video address on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
"In recent years, defense industry enterprises have increased the production and supply of the most popular weapons multiple times over, primarily high-precision strike weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, as well as air defense systems, counter-battery systems, and communications and reconnaissance equipment," the head of state said.
"Next to come is the development and serial production of promising prototypes and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the military sector," he added.
