HELSINKI, November 5. /TASS/. A US B-52 long-range heavy strategic bomber made a fight in the Finnish airspace, the Finnish Defence Forces reported.
"A US B-52 Stratofortress bomber made a flight in the Finnish airspace on Tuesday, November 5," the statement says. "The plane was en route from Norway to Finland. Finnish jet fighters carried out joint exercises with American planes. The cooperation increases the operational compatibility between the allies, strengthening the joint deterrence and defense."
Previously, this plane type carried out training exercise in Finland on July 21.
