Woman injured in Ukrainian shelling of Kursk Region

More than six missiles were fired at the border points

KURSK, October 18. /TASS/. A woman was injured as a result of Ukrainian shelling of the village of Tetkino and the village of Popovo-Lezhachi in the Kursk Region on Tuesday, the region’s governor Roman Starovoit said.

"More than six missiles were fired at our border points from the Ukrainian side. A local resident was lightly wounded: glass shards hit her face. She has already been treated and is on her way home," Starovoit wrote on his Telegram channel.

The shelling of two villages resulted in missiles hitting a previously burnt out house and vegetable gardens. Wires were damaged in some places, after which the power supply was restored. Some of the unexploded shells will be demined by sappers.
