WHO does not believe in artificial origin of coronavirus – Representative

According to Melita Vujnovic, not a single virologist in the world would create and spread an infection, because he understands the impossibility of controlling it

MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. The version regarding the artificial origin of the coronavirus is the least probable, Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Russia Melita Vujnovic told TASS in an interview.

"WHO has gathered a large board dealing with that. Four hypotheses about the virus’ origin were identified but neither of them says that someone has made the virus artificially from the very start. One of these hypotheses was about the possible virus leak from some research laboratories but this one was the least probable among hypotheses," Vujnovic said.

"As regards the artificial origin, I do not believe in it, frankly speaking. To make a virus entirely artificially so that it later leaked or even specially infested someone - you know, not a single virologist worldwide would do that because he understands it is impossible to control such virus," the WHO Representative noted.
