MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. The Kremlin has seen Vladimir Zelensky’s statements about plans "not to surrender without a fight" the Donbass and the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), which raise the question of whether they can be interpreted as plans to attack the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing.
"Of course, we have seen these statements," he said, adding that the ZNPP has been under Russia’s control for several years already.
"There is one question here: does this mean that the Kiev regime is going to try to recapture this nuclear power plant through fighting or is it going to attack this nuclear power plant," Peskov added.
Zelensky previously rejected any compromises on the Ukrainian settlement in a conversation with journalists and stated that Kiev would not surrender Donbass and the ZNPP to the Russians without a fight.
