KURSK, March 22. /TASS/. The number of civilians evacuated from the liberated border areas of Russia’s Kursk Region has reached 571, Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein said.
"A total of 571 people, including 16 children, have been evacuated from the liberated settlements in Kursk’s border areas since March 12. As many as 223 people are staying in temporary accommodation centers and another 348 went to stay with their relatives," he wrote on Telegram.
According to the acting regional governor, doctors, psychologists, legal experts and social welfare workers are providing the necessary assistance to the evacuees.
