No phone call with Turkish president on Putin’s schedule for now, Kremlin says

"Such conversations always have a broad agenda based on the wide range of our bilateral relations," Dmitry Peskov noted

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. No phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is currently listed in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s schedule but it can be quickly agreed on, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"No, such a conversation is not currently listed on the president’s schedule. However, we always [quickly] agree on high-level calls with Turkey; it usually takes a few hours. There is no problem here," he noted.

When asked if Putin and Erdogan could discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip if they held a phone call, Peskov said: "Such conversations always have a broad agenda based on the wide range of our bilateral relations."

Earlier, Erdogan announced plans to step up telephone conversations on resolving the Israeli-Palestinian issue with his foreign counterparts.
