Lavrov says he will be happy to see Cavusoglu visiting Russia 'whenever he has a chance'

According to the Russian foreign minister, the ministers agreed to continue close consultations

ANKARA, April 7. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday said he would be happy to see his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu visiting Russia "whenever he has a chance."

"I am satisfied with the outcome of the visit. We will continue our communication. Whenever he has a chance, I will be happy to see Mr. [Turkish foreign] minister in the Russian Federation," Lavrov said at a news conference following talks with Cavusoglu.

According to the Russian foreign minister, the ministers agreed to continue close consultations.

"We have relevant plans, they are being implemented," he said. "Of course, there will be many multilateral events this year, where we will also make sure we are on the same page."
