Foreign mercenaries are priority targets — LPR militia

Andrey Marochko said the number of mercenaries was "quite impressive"

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. The elimination of foreign mercenaries fighting on the side of the Ukrainian army is now number one task for the aviation, artillery and infantry of the allied forces, the spokesman for the people’s militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, Andrey Marochko, said on Wednesday.

"Whenever we learn that there are foreign mercenaries in Ukraine’s assault units, we regard them as number one target for our artillery, aerospace force and infantry," he said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Marochko said the number of mercenaries was "quite impressive." Many of them are citizens of Poland.

"As far as the Foreign Legion is concerned, even according to Kiev’s official information, it consists of about 20,000 foreigners, but they are scattered across Ukraine," he added.

Earlier, Marochko said that Ukrainian soldiers were getting increasingly angry about the Polish mercenaries’ attitude to them and privileges.
