Akhmat special operations battalion discovers arms caches on Dnieper’s left bank

TAVRICHANKA /Kherson Region/, November 28. /TASS/. Members of the Akhmat special operations battalion have discovered caches with firearms, portable air defense systems, portable Shmel flamethrowers and munitions of various calibers while inspecting 20 villages on the Dnieper’s left bank, Deputy Head of the Russian National Guard’s Branch for the Chechen Republic Colonel Sultan Rashayev told TASS.

"We are conducting searches on the Kherson front and in the direction of Energodar. As a result, we uncovered several caches, several dozen firearms, heavy weapons including MANPADS, Shmels, RPGs, and munitions of various calibers," the military official said.

He specified that to date about 20 villages have been inspected on the Energodar front along the Dnieper’s left bank.

The search has also uncovered technical reconnaissance equipment, several sets of documents of Ukrainian servicemen and sets of military uniforms, including those of NATO states.

Rashayev also noted that the units of the Akhmat battalion are fighting alongside Russia’s Armed Forces on the frontline in the Kherson Region.
