WASHINGTON, May 12. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has said in response to a question from TASS that he may visit Russia this year.

"It could [happen]. I mean, I will do whatever is necessary [for a settlement in Ukraine]," the American leader said during a conversation with reporters before flying to China.

"I've settled eight wars. That war is getting closer. Believe it or not, it's getting closer. And we think we are going to end up getting a settlement between Russia and Ukraine.".
