MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Tleuberdi discussed bilateral cooperation on biological security during the talks in Moscow, Lavrov announced at a press conference Friday.
"We discussed our cooperation on biological security. We finalize the preparation of a bilateral memorandum. Furthermore, in the last year, statements and documents were adopted on this issue and on the issue of biological security in general, as well as on matters of reinforcement of the Biological Weapons Convention, both at CSTO leaders’ level and at CSTO and CIS ministers’ level," Russian Minister said.
He also said that issues related to operation of Russian banks in Kazakhstan were also discussed at the meeting.
