YAROSLAVLA, December 13. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday he thinks the most interesting areas of research now are artificial intelligence (AI) and genetics.

"As for what looks most exciting for me in contemporary science, I would say that it is genetics and artificial intelligence," he said during a nationwide open lesson at the Proyektoria career guidance forum.

When asked how he chose his career when he was young, Putin said, "It took me long to choose my future occupation. I studies law at the Leningrad, now St. Petersburg University, and now I am satisfied with my choice.".
