Mayor of southern Russia’s Taganrog issues drone strike alert

The port city on the north shore of Taganrog Bay was last attacked by Ukrainian drones in the small hours of March 9

ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 12. /TASS/. Andrey Fateyev, the mayor of Taganrog, reported a drone attack in the city as he called on residents of high-rise buildings to seek shelter on lower floors or in basements.

"A drone attack alert from Taganrog’s civil defense and emergencies department. Please descend to floors below or basements," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The city of Taganrog in southern Russia’s Rostov Region is situated near the administrative border with the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). The port city on the north shore of Taganrog Bay was last attacked by Ukrainian drones in the small hours of March 9. No infrastructure was damaged in that attack.
