Speaking about the Hainan Expo, Peng Qinghua noted that its influence has greatly increased over the past three years and it has become the largest presentation of consumer goods in the Asia-Pacific region. Its work, he pointed out, has made significant contributions to the global economic recovery.
In his address to the expo participants, the vice chairperson called for promoting innovation in consumption and boosting its growth, adhering to the green development strategy, deepening scientific and technological innovation and improving industrial productivity. The 4th China International Consumer Products Expo kicked off on Saturday featuring more than 4,000 brands from more than 70 countries and regions around the world, including Russia.
