Russia, China implement 80 joint projects worth almost 20 trillion rubles — premier

The Russian prime minster reiterated that the two countries had fully switched to national currencies in mutual settlements

BEIJING, December 20. /TASS/. Russian and China have achieved good results in the investment sphere, implementing 80 joint projects worth almost 20 trillion rubles ($220 billion) in total, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.

"Good results have been achieved in the investment sphere. 80 joint projects worth almost 20 trillion rubles <…> are in the works," he said.

The Russian prime minster reiterated that the two countries had fully switched to national currencies in mutual settlements.

"Over 90% of payments are carried out in rubles or yuans," he added.
