Spotify removed from App Store and AppGallery for Russian users

Earlier, it was reported that Spotify will leave Russia on April 11

MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. The music streaming service Spotify has been removed from the App Store, as well as from Huawei AppGallery for users from Russia, these services said.

When trying to search for applications, both stores give links only to Russian music services.

Earlier, it was reported that Spotify will leave Russia on April 11. All Spotify services will not be available in Russia, but users will be able to reactivate an account in another country in the user settings, the service's website reports.

Users will be able to change the account country only if they are in the country they want to change their location to. At the same time, Premium subscribers will most likely be able to change the country only after April 11, 2022, the service's website said.

Users will also be able to delete their personal data that is available to Spotify and delete their account by following the instructions on the service's website.
