Japanese payment system JCB to suspend operations in Russia

Earlier, international payment systems Visa and Mastercard decided to suspend services in Russia

TOKYO, March 8. /TASS/. Japanese payment system JCB has decided to suspend its operations in Russia, according to the official statement published on Tuesday.

"JCB cards issued in Russia will no longer be supported outside the country, and any JCB cards issued outside of Russia will no longer be supported within te Russian Federation," the statement said.

Earlier, international payment systems Visa and Mastercard decided to suspend services in Russia.
