Russian PM to meet with counterparts from EAEU countries

Mikhail Mishustin will also participate in the Digital Almaty 2021 forum

MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will hold a meeting with his counterparts from other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the Kazakh city of Almaty on February 5, the Russian government’s press service said in a statement on Friday.

"The prime ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will discuss pressing issues related to the activities of the Eurasian Economic Union, including the domestic market, customs and tariff regulations and innovation projects," the statement reads.

Mishustin will also participate in the Digital Almaty 2021 forum, aimed at forming a regional and global agenda in the field of digitalization, new digital transformation strategies and cutting-edge technologies, as well as at discussing the prospects for international cooperation. This year, the event’s agenda is based on the global changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
