Russian Battlegroup South inflicts damage on Ukraine’s Azov nationalist battalion

"The Ukrainian army lost over 170 troops, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, three pickups, and six field branch artillery weapons, with two of them produced in the West," battlegroup spokesman said

MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted damage on formations of the Azov nationalist battalion (outlawed in Russia as a terrorist organization - TASS) and five brigades of the Ukrainian army over the past 24 hours, battlegroup spokesman Vadim Astafyev told reporters.

"Units from Battlegroup South improved positions and inflicted damage on formations of two mechanized, air assault, two assault brigades of the Ukrainian army and the Azov nationalist battalion," he said.

"The Ukrainian army lost over 170 troops, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, three pickups, and six field branch artillery weapons, with two of them produced in the West," the spokesman added.
