Ukrainian army sustains heavy losses on Kherson direction — official

MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. Ukraine’s armed forces are suffering serious losses on the Kherson direction, a deputy head of the Kherson Region’s military-civilian administration said on Monday.

"Frankly speaking, the losses are heavy and these are somebody’s children, somebody’s husbands and sons," Kirill Stremousov told Channel One.

He also said that the region’s authorities are at their posts and the defense continues despite a small advancement of Ukrainian units. "Everything is under control," he added.
