Over 21,000 explosive devises neutralized in Donbass - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, June 15./TASS/. Russian field engineers have neutralized over 21,000 explosive devices in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, said on Wednesday.

"Demining squads of the Russian Armed Forces and Ministry of Emergency Situations perform missions to clear the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics of explosive devices. A total of 3,085.84 hectares have been inspected, 35 buildings (of which 13 are socially important facilities), one bridge and 9.64 kilometers of roads," Mizintsev said.

"As many as 21,259 explosive devises were found and neutralized," said Mizintsev, who heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.
