DOHA, March 21. /TASS/. Houthis from the rebel Yemeni movement Ansar Allah have launched a missile strike on a military target in the Tel Aviv area using a hypersonic ballistic missile, the movement's military spokesman Yahya Saria announced.
"The missile units of the armed forces <...> carried out a military operation, during which they struck an Israeli military target in the south of the occupied Jaffa area (meaning Tel Aviv - TASS) using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile," Saria said on the air of the rebel-owned Al Masirah TV channel.
According to him, this operation was the second in the last 24 hours and "successfully achieved its goal." Yemeni rebels, Saria stressed, will continue to strike at the Israeli territory despite attacks from the United States.
He added that ships linked to Israel will also be attacked in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden until it ends its operation in the Gaza Strip.
On March 20, the IDF Spokesperson's Office reported the launch of a rocket from Yemen towards the Jewish state. The Air Force intercepted the rocket before it entered the country's airspace. Air raid sirens were activated in several areas of Israel.
