DUBAI, November 2. /TASS/. At least 195 people were killed by Israeli airstrikes at the Jabalia refugee camp in northern parts of Gaza on Tuesday and Wednesday, Hamas said.

According to the statement, published on social media, about 120 people are trapped under debris, with 777 people injured.

On October 31, the Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by Hamas, reported that Israel carried out several airstrikes at the Jabalia refugee camp. According to the Ministry, at least 50 people were killed in the attack. Similar figures were provided by the director of an Indonesian hospital located nearby. Later, the Palestinian Interior Ministry said that the number of people killed and injured has exceeded 400, half of them - children.

The IDF press office confirmed the airstrike at the Jabalia camp. According to the IDF, the attack targeted an underground complex, where Hamas commander Ibrahim Biari was hiding. According to the IDF, Biari, who was killed in the strike, played an important role in planning Hamas attacks of October 7.
