Gymnasts from 19 countries to compete at Sky Grace competition in China

Competitions will be held in individual exercises under the program of adults and juniors in five disciplines: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon

BEIJING, December 13. /TASS/. Athletes from 19 countries, including Russia, will take part in the Sky Grace international rhythmic gymnastics competition to be held in Beijing on December 15-17, according to a press release issued by the organizers.

"Sky Grace International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament will be held from December 15 to 17 in Beijing at the Olympic Arena of Beijing University of Technology," the report specifies.

Competitions will be held in individual exercises under the program of adults and juniors in five disciplines: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. Gymnasts from 19 countries will take part in the competition: Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Germany, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, the UAE, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Uzbekistan. Olympic champions in rhythmic gymnastics Lori Fung, Alexandra Timoshenko, Yulia Barsukova, Evgenia Kanaeva and Alina Kabaeva will attend the competition as guests of honor .

The Sky Grace International Tournament has been held since 2021, the first of which was held in Moscow. The second time the competition was held in December 2022 in Sochi. This time around, it will be held abroad for the first time.
