STOCKHOLM, December 5. /TASS/. The Finnish customs service is holding an investigation against two companies supplying various kinds of equipment abroad, including drones, the customs said in its press release.
According to the customs, two Finnish companies made more than thirty export operations to deliver goods under sanctions by transit via Russia. Finland believes the cargo eventually remained in Russia.
"The customs suspects that almost 3,500 unmanned aerial vehicles, that is, drones, turned out to be in Russia. Products were cleared for exports to another country. The value of drones was over two million euro," it said.
Companies also supplied various electronic items, microcontrollers and other equipment that can be used for defense purposes.
"Grounds are in place to believe according to outcomes of the preliminary investigation that operations were carried from Russia," the customs said. Six persons are under investigation and one individual was detained, it informed.
