Defusing of explosives underway in Klimovo District of Bryansk Region — FSB

Earlier, Ukrainian saboteurs infiltrated a border district of the Bryansk Region

MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. Russian law enforcement has the situation in Bryansk Region’s Klimovo District under control, with defusing of discovered explosive devices currently underway, the Federal Security Service press office told TASS Thursday.

"The law enforcement has the situation in settlements of the Klimovo District under control. An inspection and survey of the territory is underway; a large number of explosive devices of various types have been discovered, defusing is underway," the FSB noted.

The security agency noted that a local resident was killed and an 11-year-old child was injured in the recent attack of Ukrainian nationalists.

Earlier on Thursday, Ukrainian saboteurs infiltrated a border district of the Bryansk Region. the FSB confirmed that an operation to eliminate the border trespassers was underway. Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported that saboteurs infiltrated the settlement of Lyubechane, located in the Klimovo Region, directly adjacent to the Ukrainian border. According to the governor, Ukrainian forces opened fire at a car, killing one person and injuring a child. The injured boy saved two other younger children and told them to hide. The boy is currently hospitalized; his life is not in danger.
