MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Seeking to intimidate the Russian public, the Kiev regime is committing more and more terrorist attacks against Russia, targeting its fuel and energy and military industrial facilities in the first place, National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) chairman and Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov said.

"The Kiev regime is intensifying terror attacks and acts of sabotage in order to harm our economy and intimidate our citizens. Attempts continue to deliver strikes deep inside Russia using weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles supplied by the West. The primary targets of the Kiev terrorists are still the facilities of the fuel and energy and military-industrial complexes," he said at a NAC meeting. Video footage of his report was posted on the NAC information center’s website.

Bortnikov noted that the Kiev regime has no qualms about committing terrorist acts, nor is it above targeting mass gatherings. "The enemy’s main goal is to cause maximum economic damage and intimidate the population," he stressed.

During the NAC meeting, its participants considered the actions of federal agencies on preventing terrorist threats under the conditions of the special military operation and developed additional measures and determined the priority tracks of fine-tuning this work.
